The employees of Dimmitt Insurance volunteered at the Winds of Change event on July 9th in Clearwater. Winds of Change is an annual fundraising event for Clearwater Community Sailing Center. Clearwater Community Sailing Center provides free sailing instruction for children of Pinellas County. Teaching them lessons and giving them experiences that will endure a lifetime.
This year they are working on raising funds to scholarship several kids through summer camp and year-round sailing lessons at CCSC. They are working on expanding their reach to families in St. Pete and Grace House in Clearwater among other organizations. Offering these children an opportunity to experience the outdoors while learning a life skill on many levels.
Dimmitt Insurance is proud to support the Clearwater Community Sailing Center and this year’s Winds of Change Event to bring learning programs to our local youngsters.
