10,000 Turkeys
This Thanksgiving, 10,000 families who might not have been able to afford a traditional meal were gifted with a turkey and accompanying food basket.
It’s all thanks to The Salvation Army for pairing a generous (and anonymous) donor with 10,000 families in need and for organizing the ground effort of volunteers who passed out the food a few days before Thanksgiving.
The Volunteers Arrive
Dimmitt Insurance was proud to be counted among the numbers of volunteers. At The Salvation Army’s facility in Clearwater, we gathered to help distribute turkeys to families in need.
It feels nice to do something good for others. It’s one of the reasons why Dimmitt Insurance is such an active member of the community. We believe in the value of coming together and being a part of something great.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who showed up to help us make 10,000 holidays brighter. Let’s do it again next year!
